Automated Coat & Hat Checker |

|
~
A Railex is an automatic coat and hat checking system for
use in restaurants,hotels, theatres, clubs,
resorts, hospitals
and any establishment where checking is required. |
|
|
|
~
It is activated by remote controls, either hand or foot, or
by a Railex “Robot-Matic Selector'. The position
corresponding to the customer’s check number
is selected,
activating the machine to bring the customer’s
garments,
hats or parcels to the attendant within seconds. |
|
|
|
~
A Railex System has many advantages. |
|
|
|
First,
of course, is speed. No longer do attendants have to
run up and down aisles carrying coats and looking for
numbers. One just presses a number and in a few seconds
the customer is being helped on with his or her coat. |
|
|
|
Space
is another factor. By actual measurement 33% of
existing coatroom space is saved and becomes available
for other purposes. Aisle space is eliminated. |
|

Railex Model ________ electric coat and hat check system. |
|

1~Rail
& frame Construction: Rail should be electroplated
steel tubing, carrying trolleys & rollers without any
requirements for lubrication. Frame shall completely encircle
rail for its entire circumference in an endless manner,
providing safety. |
|
|
| 2~Trolley:
Shall be chrome plated steel with shielded or sealed nylon tired
ball bearing rollers. |
|
|
| 3~Linkage:
Members forming endless hanger brackets should be of steel &
chrome plated. |
|
|
4~Shelves:
are steel electroplated, open dust-proof construction, 12”
wide. Shelves may be removed for larger vertical
spacing for packages, cases, etc. |
|
|
5~Drive:
Shall consist of 1/4 - 1/2 h.p. motor, resilient mounted and
equipped with ball bearings, service factor rated 1.35.
Reduction through enclosed gear reducer with 11/8 diameter output
shaft, Timken tapered roller bearings on input &
output shafts double sealed. Open roller chain is not acceptable
due to safety hazard. |

6~Wiring:
The unit shall be completely pre-wired, ready for supply connection.
Control circuit shall be low voltage
N.E.C. Class 2. |
|
|
| 7~Tests
& Standards: Unit shall be Underwriters Laboratories
(U.L.) and C.S.A. approved and listed. |
|

position on the Storage and Retrieval
Conveyor. It will automatically direct
the conveyor to travel in the shortest
