then a color over the top, Metal-Armor™ is a solid
process color treatment. Should a nick or scratch occur,
the beauty of your color will remain intact. A wide assort-

Delta shift is the measurement of the amount of color
loss within a set time period. A detectable change of delta
4 is notable to the uneducated eye.
For color brilliance, durability and fade resistance, our frames are manufactured in multiple layers
A. Cold-formed steel tubing includes an internal corrosion-
     resistant coating for protection in a variety of environ-

B. The steel exterior is further protected with a galvanized
    steel coating of 99.99% per zinc.
C. A chromate conversion coating on top of the zinc
    provides further rust protection
D. A clear organic coating seals in rust protection and also
    acts as a primer for the final powder coating.
E. The baked on powder coating resists mildew, fungus
    and staining, and adds high-gloss color to the product.
    A special UV inhibitor in the powder coat helps prevent
    color fading.

1.3 SUBMITTALS
   A. Submit product data, shop drawings and samples.
        1. Product Data: Manufacturer's specifications and
            technical data edited specifically for proposed
            product, including the following specific information:
           a. Detailed specification of construction fabrication.
           b. Manufacturer's installation instructions
           c. Product warranty
   B. Shop Drawings: Indicate pertinent dimensions, general
        construction, component connections, anchoring
        methods, hardware and installation procedures.
   C. Samples as requested by Architect.
1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE
   A. Qualifications of Manufacturer: Manufacturer to be pre-
        qualified by specifier prior to bidding. Failure to comply
        will result in disqualification of bid. Manufacturer to have
        at least three years experience in the manufacture of
        thermo plastic coated steel site furnishings field proven
        for at least three years.
