TRI-SIDE MODEL
				The Tri-Side Safety Gate is a dual-gate system with precise counterbalanced gates that allows access to the mezzanine workstation from three sides. The gate creates a totally enclosed workstation that provides complete protection for both the employee and materials during loading and off- loading of palletized materials.
				The ergonomically controlled Tri-Side gate model does not impede upon the depth of the mezzanine platform, taking up only twelve inches when the ledge gate is closed. The unit does not have fixed side rails that hinder entry into the pallet area. With the Tri-Side model, pallets can be removed from either the sides, rear or the front of the unit. These gates are ideal for areas in which the pallet drop area is integrated with conveyors, walkways or other obstructions.
				Tri-Side units can be power operated. We supply a 110-volt, one-half horsepower, 1,000 RPM commercial motor with two three-button switches for open, close and stop. One push button station is positioned on or adjacent to the unit, while the second station is positioned on the ground level to be accessed by the forklift driver. The power motor also includes a safety clutch that will engage if the gate is obstructed when closing. When necessary, radio frequency controllers can also be used for remote operation of the gates.
The standard, all-steel Tri-Side gate comes in high visibility yellow with contrasting blue support frames. Custom colors can be ordered.
				Gates are available in the standard, two-rail OSHA compliant model or a four-rail BOCA/UBC/CAL-OSHA model. Individual or multiple line units can be ordered. Gates can be customized to fit specific width, depth and height requirements. In addition, toe guards can be added to either gate model.
